Froever Gone Chapter 2

Chapter 4

Evan

2010

I put down my book as I sense Basil coming toward my room. I got up and opened the door for him.

“God, I hate when you do this,” Basil said rolling his eyes. “Well, are you ready for school yet?”

I winced when he said the word school. “I have no idea why agreed on going to school with you guys.”

He smiled. “You own me, dude.”

I nodded. “Well, I’m ready. Seriously I hope I won’t go crazy when I’m around those humans.”

“Yeah whatever, we’re leaving,” he said already half way out the door. “Ana is so enthusiastic.”

I smiled when he emphasize the word so.

I got in the car and took a seat at the front of the car with Basil. Ana was sitting at the back with Rena and Ashton.

“I hope I’ll survive,” Rena said tying her shoelace.

“Yep, but my tummy is full so I’ll survive, at least today,” Ashton said rubbing his tummy.

I smiled. “We’re going to do fine. Hey by the way, can anyone tell me why I agreed on going to school with you guys?”

Ana laughed along with Rena and Ashton, like it was supposed to be a joke.

“Maybe you were on drugs,” Basil laughed turning into the parking lot of West Greenwich Regional High. “God what is with these people there everywhere.”

I looked out the window and agreed with him. There were many humans, I mean not even many; it was outnumbered. It was really noisy in the parking lot.

“That’s the first day of high school for human: loud and stupid,” Ashton joked.

“Stupid, their retarded, their basically holding up a sign that say kill me,” Ana said getting out the car. I grabbed hold of her hand before she got up. She looked at me.

“I won’t start sucking people blood,” she said and she got out.

I got out when something caught my attention.

It was her.

Faye McCarthy.

Basil saw me stuttered and came over. “What happen man?”

He must have saw it too because he was starting to look at her. She turned around from her friends and caught me looking. She almost looked like her mother reddish-brownish hair, tall, and slim, but she had those emerald color eyes that were very attractive, probably go it from her father.

She was wearing all black: black skinny jeans, black t-shirt, but then she wore neon green converse.

“Faye,” someone called. She finally looked away from me and started to talk to a dirty blonde hair girl.

“Who’s that,” I thought I heard Ashton whispered to Ana. She didn’t answer him, but her face was red now.

Oh god, Ana is jealous that you’re starring at the girl and not at her, Basil thought.

I elbowed him on the ribs. He flinched almost knocking over Rena.

“Dude, seriously watch it,” Rena cried.

“Blame him,” Basil said pointing at me.

I wasn’t paying attention now; I was looking at Faye McCarthy. I remembered her as an innocent girl, whose mother and brother died when she was only seven.
